Anthia.....The Abundant Fish of the Red Sea
The Red Sea is named after the reflection of sandstone mountains of the Egyptian landscape at dusk causing red tint on the surface. However, some divers believe that the Red Sea is named after the teams of red Anthias that populate coral outcroppings of every dive site. Anthias add value to every dive in the Red Sea by creating a vision of a reef busting with marine life. Learn more about the Anthia in a recent post on our Red Sea News blog from Terry Axam at Emperor Divers. Read More

Recent Egypt-Red SeaTrip Testimonies
Groups of divers from Atlanta, Georgia and Upstate New York recently traveled to Egypt to view the antiquities of the ancient land and dive the Red Sea. Both groups returned from Egypt with glowing reports on both the land tours and the diving.
The Atlanta Dive Group May 21-June 1, 2010: Trip Leader Bryan Kovacs
"Egypt is an amazing place with a rich history and wonderful people. We worked closely with Darlene and David at Learning Through Travel out of New York. They did an excellent job on the trip itinerary, but your team in Egypt had to do the actual tours and logistics once we arrived in Egypt. From the moment we arrived we were treated with exceptional service and that continued throughout the trip. Your team is to be commended and the Learning Through Travel experience will be recommended without reservation to travel prospects. Well done!" Read More
Deep Six Underwater Systems April 30-May 12, 2010: Owner George Campbell
