Sharm El Shiekh named World's Leading Dive Destination

Greetings from Learning Through Travel. We lead off our first newsletter of 2008 with

some very exciting news in the dive industry.  The Egyptian seaside resort city of Sharm El Sheikh on the Sinai Peninsula was honored as the World’s Leading Dive Destination for 2007 by the prestigious award giving body, World Travel Awards. Tagged as the “Red Sea Riviera” and known for its excellent and magnificent fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and diving sites, world class amenities, this resort community is an international summer and winter favorite among seasoned vacationers.  Sharm El Sheikh is also known as the CITY OF PEACE that hosted several international and regional Peace Conferences under the patronage of Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak.

Learning Through Travel offers set date travel itineraries for 2008 for travel to Egypt to dive the Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh.  The Sharm program is a 15 Day/13 Night package with a complete land tour of Egypt with a 4 Night Nile Cruise and 5 days of land based diving from Sharm El-Sheikh.
